At first she wrote young adult thriller stories, because that was the cool thing to do in the 1990s. Today she is exploring different styles of writing along with different genres. Some of these include chick-lit, science fiction, romance, and young adult.

Fresh out of college, a young Canadian girl moves to London to pursue a software development job in the financial district. After settling in, she realizes that working in a male dominated field is great for meeting men, but making close female friends proves to be more of a challenge. She begins to spend too much time with her male coworkers and her relationship with one man in particular quickly turns into a dangerous love affair. Trying to salvage her career, while maintaining her self-respect, the young heroine manages to pull together a band of women from her firm to support her in her trials. After much turmoil and culture shock, the young Canadian girl manages to debug her life to fit the expectations of her job and coworkers in London and emerges as a new woman.
